MISSION STATEMENT
The London Early Learning Montessori Preschool provides a literacy-rich environment that encourages independent learning, critical thinking, articulate and confident leaders of tomorrow, while preparing them for a life of purpose, integrity, and academic excellence.
MONTESSORI PHILOSOPHY
Our philosophy is based on Dr. Maria Montessori's work, which states that respecting each child’s individuality and learning style is vital to natural development. Our approach is holistic, nurturing the complete child. Through exploration and discovery, we foster moral, social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth, all within a meticulously prepared environment.
The prepared environment appeals to each child as it offers the opportunity to learn and discover through hands-on experiences. This active learning strategy adapts to all learning styles as it accommodates Multiple Intelligences. The Directress is skilled at assessing each child’s needs and learning styles and adapts teaching strategies and classroom experiences that capture the child’s interest.
PARENTAL SUPPORT
We have established a support system for parents called BRAVE: Building Resilience, Awareness, and Values through Education. BRAVE offers a variety of opportunities and services that enable parents to be active participants in their child’s holistic development.

MEET THE DIRECTRESS
Welcome to The London Early Learning Montessori Preschool. I am Jenifer Xavier, a wife, mother, teacher, administrator, lecturer, author, curriculum planner, and Advanced Parenting Skills Instructor.
With more than three decades as an early childhood educator, as Principal of schools in both London and
Trinidad, I’ve had the joy of nurturing young minds during the most critical period of their development. It has been a rewarding experience to witness the blossoming of numerous successful careers, all rooted in the solid foundation laid during their preschool years, thanks to their parents’ foresight and commitment to early childhood education.
We aim to foster a literacy rich environment cultivating independent learners and critical thinkers who will become tomorrow’s confident leaders, all the while equipping them for a life filled with purpose, integrity, and academic distinction.
I am an advocate for preschool education and I am actively involved in the education and training of individuals who wish to play a part in this process.
